In Lillington, NC we spoke with Desi L. Campbell, who runs the Harnett County African American Heritage Center.

In Jacksonville, we were able to sit down and talk with Pat Buhr -- an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

We came to Craven County because of a news article about the wonderful work and mission of Free Mom Hugs. Soon after, we were able to connect with Crystal Sanders French.

In Pinetown, we spoke with mechanic and family farmer, William Jefferson -- whose family has lived in this area for generations.

While visiting Greenville, we went to Vidant Medical Center (soon to be named ECU Health), where we were able to interview Alexyss Joyner, a Speech Pathologist and PT.

In Surf City, we spoke with Kelly Moore. Kelly is the Executive Assistant to Athletic Director at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is also a Surf City local, a mom, and a military spouse.

In New Hanover County, we were able to speak with Kristin Holloman-Noe at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

On February 24th, 2022 - we met and interviewed Mahalia Witter-Merithew. Mahalia is the owner of Casita Brewing Company in Wilson, North Carolina.
